With her years of experience in the optical field, Esteffani provides a welcoming and knowledgeable presence at our front desk, scheduling all of our appointments and assisting patients with intake and insurance procedures.  She provides various supports for Dr. Kaplan and assists in our busy optical area as well.

Amy assists Dr. Kaplan with special projects such as researching local educational and medical resources related to vision therapy services.  She also provides invaluable assistance with administrative front-desk procedures and in our optical area.  She has a broad spectrum of skills reflecting an interesting career in the arts and business.

After graduating from the University of North Texas, Amy worked for several years for A&M Records which, after handling promotions and administration in Atlanta, Georgia, eventually brought her to San Francisco.  She then worked for Lucasfilm Ltd., recruiting and coordinating talent for Industrial Light and Magic.  Following that, Amy switched gears and founded a personal assistance company in honor of her Grandmother, helping many of the senior residents at the Redwoods in Mill Valley.   She returned to Texas to assist her aging Mother during the pandemic and most recently returned to the Bay Area. Currently wearing many hats in her work life, she is a House Manager at the Marin Art and Garden Center, a Facilities Manager at O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, and provides much appreciated support to all of us at Mill Valley Optometry.
