Health and Safety Precautions

To All Patients of Mill Valley Optometry,

I am so happy that serious cases of Covid-19 have decreased and that this has allowed most of us to return to normal. As a healthcare office, Mill Valley Optometry will continue to adhere to several safety measures out of an abundance of caution and for the comfort and peace of mind of our patients.

Every effort is made to keep our office from getting overcrowded at any one time. To that end, all visits to our office must be by appointment only, even if it is to simply pick up your glasses or contact lenses. We do not accommodate drop-in visits.

When you arrive at our office, please take a seat and we will begin your appointment soon thereafter. Frame selection is done following your exam so that our staff can help you identify glasses that are the right size and are an appropriate shape for your latest prescription.

After you have tried on any frame, please do not place it back on our display shelves. All frames are washed after any patient tries them on. We look forward to helping you find just the right glasses which reflect your personal style and vision needs.

Masks are not required but are available should you feel more comfortable using one. We will also wear masks, per your request. Hand sanitizer is available.

And, of course, if you are not feeling well, or have any symptoms of a cold, flu, or Covid, please be sure to reschedule your appointment. We will be sure to accommodate your needs as soon as possible after you have the “all clear.”

We wish you every happiness and the best of health in the upcoming year and always!

Sincerely,

Dr. Eliot Kaplan, Optometrist
